Happy New 2024!

Statement of Reggie Kai Hawthorne, Head of LARI.

Past year for us was a year, when we fought for independence. A year of war for liberty. A second year of war with an aggression. Asking anyone, how was the year, we can get infinite amount of answers.

We remember great and sad moments, that have occured in 2023. But the main moment for us is that we got stronger. 678 days ago, we were thrown a challenge. We didn't knew, what is gonna happen next. 

When in 2022, in April, Athens have survived one of hardest springs, when we proved that we are more powerful than coldness and darkness, more powerful than the challenges imposed on us by those, who came to "liberate" us.

I guess, we can withstand deficites, due to us not having deficit of resilience and courage. 

I want to say thanks to everyone, who made this possible. All our Armed Forces. 

As we know, wars do not end by themselves -- we end them. And the win isn't granted - we must win. 

And for this we must live by this rule: either you work, either you go to war. Because today against us is the biggest terroristic organization in the World. 

And it is understood, how much we shall work, how more actively we shall work, how more powerful our fight and unity must be. Every person who does not ask: "What can i do?",but lives by a formula "must do more than i can" knows this, because exactly that "winning" means in Ukrainian: 

• overpower yourself
• overcome
• make extra effort
• make more, than it seemed at first,

because everyone knows we can do better, and this is proved everyday by people of the world, people of different occupations. Volonteurs, diplomats, business, Taxpayers. Everyone who gives bread. Everyone who gives shelter. Everyone who makes ammo, everyone who repairs, builds. Everyone who works daily and proofs that we are stronger than fatigue. 

War has taught us many things.  It showed much. It disjoined the families, took sons, daughters, but at same time united us into one big family. 

On February 24, 2022 we had to make a choice. The main goal of the war. Someone ran, someone is still here, someone is locked, someone took kids, someone gone to front, someone saved families, someone returned. At some point, we would need to ask ourselves, who are we, who we need to be.     

As we welcome the new year, I am filled with hope and optimism for the future of our great nation. This past year has been a challenging one, but we have persevered and emerged stronger than ever before. We have shown that we are people, capable of overcoming even the most difficult of obstacles. We overcame 2264 air siren rings. 

This is the first new year, that we actually celebrate as an actual micronation, that works. Without you, this would not be possible. 

Indeed, as Ursula von der Leyen said, it is a fight for rule of law or rule of gun. 158 weapons were used two days ago, and by far, this was the biggest russian attack by weapon counts, resulting in three being assasinated. Last report that came to me half-a-hour ago, 1709 russian rockets, 653 russian flight units, 15 aeroballistic "Kinjal's", 3095 "Shahed" were down since 24.02.2022 (but in fact it is more than those).

As we look ahead to the coming year, we must continue to work together to build a brighter future for all of our citizens. We must remain committed to the values that have made our nation great: freedom, democracy, and equality. We must continue to strive for excellence in all that we do, and to never lose sight of our goals. We must show the power that lies in our democracies, the power of people that choose their independent paths, freely and democratically.

This year, we also will face many challenges, but I am confident that we will overcome them together. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our citizens have access to the best healthcare, education, and job opportunities. We will continue to invest in our infrastructure, our communities, and our people. But whatever 2024 will bring, i hope we will be stronger. 

As we move forward into the new year, let us remember that we are all in this together. Let us continue to support one another, to lift each other up, and to work together to build a better future for ourselves and for generations to come.

In a momentous achievement for the Republic of Inocria, the nation has officially been accepted as a member of the Micronational Assembly (MA). After a month of working hard on this project, we have finally achieved one of our first goals—becoming a member of a micronational alliance." BREAKING: Assasination attempt has been carried out on Reggie Kai Hawthorne, Head of Legislative Assembly of Republic of Inocria, and their brother and sister.

In a shocking turn of events, the Head of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Inocria has survived yet another assassination attempt. The incident occurred on December 23, 2023, at approximately 8:56 PM IST, which was reported later at an unnamed Discord server, of which they are a member. The Ministries of Defence and Internal Affairs have issued a statement detailing the circumstances surrounding the attack at 11:48 PM IST.

According to the official statement released on morning of Christmas Eve, a brave individual, who is believed to be mother of victim, attempted to carry out the assassination using a knife, targeting the children of a family believed to be connected to the Russian Federation. Fortunately, the Head of the Legislative Assembly intervened, confronting the assailant and ensuring the safety of the children involved.

The Ministries of Defence and Internal Affairs have confirmed that an arrest warrant was issued at 1:10 PM IST on December 24, 2023, for the family linked to the assailant. The government has expressed its commitment to pursuing justice and maintaining the safety of its citizens in the face of such threats.

In their statement, the ministries emphasized their determination to combat tyranny and oppression, calling on all freedom-loving citizens to join in the struggle for justice and democracy. Army and Police Establishment Acts have been approved by Legislative Assembly

Army and the Police are established.

The Legislative Assembly of Inocria has approved the Armed Forces Establishment Act, officially establishing the Armed Forces of the Republic of Inocria (AFRI). This act aims to ensure the sovereignty and defense of the nation through a structured military framework.

The Armed Forces will comprise five distinct branches: the Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, Special Forces, and Cybcom, each tasked with specific operational responsibilities. The Head of the Legislative Assembly, and in the future, the President of Inocria, will serve as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, with oversight provided by the Ministry of Defense.

Recruitment for the Armed Forces will follow a volunteer system, with eligibility criteria including citizenship and age requirements. The primary duty of the Armed Forces will be to protect the nation's sovereignty, while also providing assistance during domestic emergencies and participating in international peacekeeping efforts.

Funding for the Armed Forces will be determined by the Legislative Assembly, ensuring that the military is adequately resourced to fulfill its responsibilities.

The police force will implement community policing strategies to foster positive relationships with the public, including establishing advisory boards and organizing outreach programs. The police force will be funded through the national budget, ensuring adequate resources for training and operational needs, along with regular audits for financial accountability. Recruitment will be based on merit, ensuring diversity and representation. All recruits will undergo comprehensive training in legal education, human rights, and community engagement.

MIGON Winter Games '23 request had been approved

We are pleased to announce that Inocria will be participating in the upcoming MIGON Winter Games '23, hosted by President Ruby Specht of Schpecktenia. The official request for participation was submitted on November 22, 2023, and we received confirmation of our involvement later that same day at 8:11 PM Inocrian Standard Time.

Our representative is well-prepared for the Games, which will feature a diverse range of activities, including Chess, Gartic Phone, and an exciting addition this year: Poker.

In addition to our representative, we are excited to welcome Yuri (they/them), who represents a currently unidentified micronation, as well as Commissar Ford, representing the United Socialist Republic (USR) and potentially Schpecktenia.

We look forward to a spirited competition and the opportunity to strengthen ties with fellow micronations during this prestigious event.

National Currency Act has been approved by Legislative Assembly

National Currency is now established

The Legislative Assembly of Inocria is pleased to announce the approval of the Currency Establishment Act, which establishes the official currency of the Republic of Inocria, known as the "Inocrian Zylar" (symbol: ʒ). This act aims to promote economic growth, trade, and financial stability within our nation.

Key Provisions of the Currency Establishment Act:

• Official Currency: The Inocrian Zylar (ǯ) will be subdivided into smaller units, with one Zylar equal to 100 Zentari (ʒ).
• Central Authority: The Central Republican Bank will be established to manage the issuance, regulation, and oversight of the Inocrian Zylar. This central bank will implement monetary policy, regulate financial institutions, and maintain currency stability.
• Legal Tender Status: The Inocrian Zylar will be recognized as legal tender for all transactions within the Republic of Inocria. Existing currencies, including the Russian Ruble, and Ukrainian Hryvnia will retain legal tender status until December 31, 2029, facilitating a smooth transition. Belorussian Ruble has also been recognized as a legal tender until December 31, 2025.
• Transition Period: A six-year transition period will allow for the gradual introduction of the Inocrian Zylar, during which existing currencies can be exchanged. A public awareness campaign will be conducted to educate citizens about the new currency and the exchange process.

The Inocrian Zylar will feature a range of denominations from 1 to 1000, each symbolizing different values and attributes, from light green for new beginnings to gold for high value and prestige.
