Cylete Onyx Blackhawk Shines at 2025 Micronational eGames in Snagov
In a spectacular display of skill and competitive spirit, the renowned cylete Onyx Blackhawk from the Sovereign State of Nenggog has made headlines at the Micronational Olympics Federation's 2025 eGames, recently held in the historic locale of Snagov.
Over the past days, Onyx's performance has been a rollercoaster of victories and setbacks across multiple events that have captivated both spectators and fellow competitors alike.
On April 9th, Onyx Blackhawk faced early hurdles in the tournament. In the billiards match, Onyx was narrowly defeated by Tyler Mullins representing the Free Nation of New Athens, with Mullins edging the contest 2-1. The same day saw the cylete fall short in a tightly-contested checkers match against Eric Smith from the Principality of Mendersia, succumbing 1-0 in an unexpected twist on the board.
Responding to the initial defeats, Onyx made a powerful statement on April 11th. Revitalized and focused, the cylete secured a crucial win in the Tic Tac Toe match vs. Stege of the Zeion, overcoming a formidable opponent with a 3-1 victory. Not one to rest on its laurels, Onyx then entered a pulse-pounding Poker showdown that had spectators at the edge of their seats. In a grueling 35-hand battle, Onyx emerged victorious against Hasan, the representative of Hasanistan. The dramatic climax came on the final hand, with Onyx clinching the match thanks to a decisive combination including a 7♠ and 6♣, against a table layout of 8♦, 10♠, 4♥, 5♣, 9♥, getting a 6-10 Straight. The finale was highlighted by an all-in bet of 2040 units from Hasanistan, following an original stack of 25000 and subsequent strategic bet of 5000.
Looking ahead, Onyx Blackhawk is set to face HRM Suryadeva I of the Kingdom of Mayursia in a new round of competitive play. The cylete is also eagerly awaiting the outcome of an intense poker face-off between Remy Kimpton of Wallisy and Yvan Bertjens of the Principality of Ladonia. Pending the result, Onyx is scheduled for a face-to-face Rock-Paper-Scissors challenge with the Remy Kimpton, with the meetup slated for the following night.
As the tournament progresses, enthusiasts across micronations are eagerly following next stints of cyletes. With challenges looming on the horizon, it is clear that this is more than just a series of games—it’s a celebration of competition, community, and national pride on an international stage.
