NLA condemns Trump's Administration Actions.

From the Office of the Chairman of the National Legislative Assembly

To the People of Nenggog and the Global Community,

As the Chairman of the National Legislative Assembly of the Sovereign State of Nenggog, I feel it is imperative to address the troubling actions taken by the 47th President of the United States and his administration. These actions have systematically undermined the rights and dignity of countless individuals, particularly those from marginalized communities. It is our moral obligation to stand in solidarity with the oppressed and to condemn these regressive policies that threaten the very fabric of our shared humanity.

The executive orders aimed at erasing the existence of transgender and intersex Americans are not only discriminatory but also a violation of fundamental human rights. By mandating the recognition of only two genders and forcing transgender individuals into facilities based on their sex assigned at birth, this administration has demonstrated a blatant disregard for the dignity and identity of millions. We stand resolutely against such erasure and call for the recognition and protection of all gender identities. Furthermore, the attempt to discriminate against transgender service members is an affront to the values of honor and integrity that our armed forces uphold. Every individual, regardless of their gender identity, deserves the right to serve their country without fear of discrimination. We reject the notion that one's identity can undermine their commitment to service.

The efforts to restrict access to gender-affirming care for transgender youth are not protective; they are harmful. The administration's rhetoric surrounding "chemical and surgical mutilation" grossly misrepresents essential medical care that saves lives. We advocate for the rights of individuals to make informed decisions about their own bodies, free from government interference. The rescinding of long-standing non-discrimination policies and the assault on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs are direct attacks on the progress made during the Civil Rights era. We must uphold the principles of equality and justice for all, and we condemn any efforts to reverse these hard-won rights.

Moreover, the dismissal of career officials within the Department of Justice and the mass pardoning of individuals involved in the January 6 insurrection undermine the integrity of our legal system. Accountability is essential for a functioning democracy, and we denounce any actions that seek to evade justice. The attempts to end birthright citizenship and the deployment of federal troops to the Southern border reflect a dangerous nativism that has no place in a just society. We stand with immigrants and refugees, recognizing their contributions and the humanity they bring to our communities.

The administration's withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord and the obstruction of renewable energy initiatives demonstrate a reckless disregard for our planet and future generations. We must prioritize sustainable practices and environmental justice, rejecting any policies that jeopardize our shared home. Additionally, the undermining of global health initiatives and the freezing of scientific research funding are detrimental to public health and safety. We must support evidence-based policies that protect our communities and promote the well-being of all.

The chaotic approach to governance, including the threat of a government shutdown and the rescinding of essential services, is a disservice to the American people. We call for responsible leadership that prioritizes the needs of citizens over petty grievances. In conclusion, the actions of the 47th President and his administration represent a profound threat to the values of equality, justice, and compassion that we hold dear. The Sovereign State of Nenggog stands united in our commitment to uphold the rights of all individuals, regardless of their identity, background, or beliefs. We will continue to advocate for a world where every person is treated with dignity and respect.

Together, we will resist these regressive policies and work towards a future that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion for all.
