Act 034 approved, changing the nation

New Year, New Us

In a historic move aimed at redefining national identity, the Republic of Inocria has officially been renamed the Sovereign State of Nenggog, following the passage of Act No. 034 by the National Legislative Assembly. The act, which was enacted today, marks a significant shift in the country’s branding and governance.

The primary objective of the new legislation is to establish a fresh national identity for the citizens of Nenggog. The act mandates that all references to "Inocria" in official documents, legislation, and communications be replaced with "Nenggog," signaling a new era for the nation.

As part of the rebranding process, the national flag and coat of arms will undergo redesigns to better reflect the values and aspirations of the Nenggogian people. A committee appointed by the National Legislative Assembly will oversee the design process, with the new symbols expected to be officially adopted shortly.

In a statement, Onyx Adrien Blackhawk, Chairman of the National Legislative Assembly, expressed optimism about the changes, stating, "This renaming is not just a change of title; it is a reaffirmation of our sovereignty and a celebration of our unique heritage. We are excited to embrace our new identity as the Sovereign State of Nenggog."

The act also ensures that all treaties and international obligations signed by the Republic of Inocria will remain in effect under the new name. Existing passports issued by the former republic will continue to be valid, providing a seamless transition for citizens traveling abroad.

Government agencies have been tasked with updating all official documents, applications, and forms to reflect the new name, with a transition period of one week established to facilitate these changes. The name of the "Legislative Assembly" will also be officially changed to the "National Legislative Assembly," further solidifying the new national identity.

As the Sovereign State of Nenggog embarks on this transformative journey, citizens are encouraged to embrace the changes and participate in the celebration of their new identity. The government has committed to communicating these changes effectively to the public, ensuring that all Nenggogians are informed and engaged in this pivotal moment in their nation’s history.

Stay tuned for further updates as the Sovereign State of Nenggog begins to unveil its new national symbols and identity.
